Understand certificate constraints

Upload certificate evidence early so constraints do not surprise the delivery plan.

Regulatory Deadlines

Certificates can constrain scope, device variants, intended purpose, conformity route, notified-body involvement, and timelines. A certificate that appears valid may still not cover the exact device or claim you want to support.

Upload the certificate, annexes, scope pages, notified-body letters, surveillance findings, and renewal correspondence. The expert will look for scope, expiry, conditions, and whether there are obligations that affect transition reliance.

If certificate status is uncertain, mark it as a blocker rather than building the plan around an assumption. It is better to resolve certificate scope early than discover a mismatch during final review.
