Document currency and staleness
Why an issued document can later need review.
When a document is issued, the platform records exactly what was sealed, permanently. That record never changes afterwards — it is the answer to "what did you say, and when did you say it".
Where you meet it
On the deliverable page, when a file you had already downloaded reads: "Your technical file is being updated and isn't available to download right now. It will reappear here as soon as your expert re-issues it." Nothing has been lost, and nothing you did was wrong.
The rule
If something the document depended on changes — a corrected fact, a new evidence decision, an updated standard — the issued record stays exactly as it was, as history, and the working document is marked as needing review. Your expert reviews what moved and issues a new revision. The old one is not edited, because a regulator may still ask about it.
