The client case journey
Follow the stages without treating the status as a timer.
How the platform keeps records
Your case moves through five stages. The status pill on the case header (and the badge on the dashboard) shows where it is — it is a summary of the current status, not a countdown, and it does not move on a schedule.
| Stage | What is happening | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Submitted | The case exists and its source documents are being read. | Add any documents you did not have at the start. |
| AI drafting | Complya is building the documents from your material. | Watch for facts to confirm; this is the one stage that refreshes on its own. |
| Expert review | Your MDR expert is working through the file. | Answer gaps assigned to you and act on any message asking for a correction. |
| Approved | The expert has signed off what they can sign off. | Check whether anything still shows as needing you. |
| Delivered | A package has been released to you. | Download the deliverable and read what it contains. |
The rule
Only AI drafting refreshes by itself. Changes made at every other stage appear when you reload or revisit the case — so a page left open for an hour is showing you an hour-old picture.
