Working with your expert and assistant
Where to find it
My Cases → Your case → Open conversation
You need
- A case with an assigned expert for expert-directed messages.
Your expert's card on the case shows their name and, once assigned, an "Open conversation" button (before that it reads "Not yet assigned"). The conversation panel is headed by your expert's name; the composer reads "Write a message to <first name>…". Name the document, source, fact or deadline your message concerns.
Write a message your expert can act on
- Name the thing: the document, source, fact or deadline your message is about.
- Say what you want to happen, not only what is confusing.
- If the platform offers a control for what you are asking about — a gap answer, a fact correction, an article upload — use that instead. It reaches the right record; a message does not.
What happens next
- The reply remains in the case context; recorded actions still update through their own controls.
